1. Do not do anything to harm the server.
2. Respect everyone. No shit-talking, racism, purposefully annoying people or trolling.
3. Do not impersonate an admin or staff.
4. Do not spam chat.
5. Do not prop climb, surf, kill, block, bridge, push, trap or spam.
6. No offensive or inappropriate text signs.
7. Inappropriate names will result in a forced change.
8. Body-blocking is not allowed if you are doing it to troll or be annoying.
9. Do not interfere with Admins on Duty.
10. Scamming is not allowed whatsoever.
11. Do not ban evade by going on an alternate account.
1. Do not randomly kill someone. (RDM - Random Death Match)
2. Follow the New Life Rule. If you don't know what it is, see the 'New Life Rule' section below.
3. No job abuse.
4. Do not disconnect, suicide, change jobs, etc to get out of a role-play situation.
5. Do not mic spam.
6. As a Hitman you cannot kill someone in spawn. (You also cannot stand and wait for them to leave)
7. Do not play any form of inappropriate media over either the cinema projector, radio controller or signs.
8. Mugging is against the rules.
9. The Snowball RPG, RPG and C4 can only be used as a raiding tool, since they destroy props. If in the process they kill / hurt people, that is fine.
10. Kill on sight (KoS) signs or lines are not allowed.
11. You must make a reasonable attempt to take the Mayor hostage before opening fire on him (you must be a raiding class to take hostages).
12. Private Class' may not roleplay as: Hobo, Civil Protection (Includes CP Helper), Mayor (Includes Mayor's Guard), and Hitman.
13. You may not defend random people, only your friends, gang members/allied gang members, and occupants of your base.
14. You may raid someone after selling them entities, unless an agreement was made otherwise (See Scamming Rules).
15. Hobos may not own doors, since they are homeless.
16. Baiting Civil Protection is not allowed. It's Fail RP.
17. Do not crossfire RDM.
18. If your friend is a hitman you may NOT help him complete his hit. It does not matter if you are in the same gang or not. You could only potentially interfere if the person shot you directly.
19. Pretending to be arrested by sneaking into the PD jail cells and standing with your keys out is not allowed. This is Fail RP.
20. Disc Jockeys cannot play music in spawn.
21. You must be a raiding class to steal.
22. You must be a raiding class to kidnap.
23. When using weapons with potential to kill many people unintentionally, (Nerve gas, C4, Orbital Strike) you must advert a clear warning before your use of said weapon, specifying the location of the weapon discharge, the weapon that will be discharging, while leaving adequate time for innocents to flee.
24. Do not Fail RP.
25. Do not RP in spawn. (see in-depth)
1. Once you die, you forget everything that happened to you in your past life.
2. You may not return to the area where you died until you wait the 5 minute NLR Area cooldown time.
3. If you are close enough to the area where you died, so that you are influencing the RP that is ongoing in said area, then you are breaking NLR.
Raiding Rules
1. You may raid as: Thug, Thug Leader, Thief, Respected Citizen, Private Class, Locksmith, Civil Protection, Swat. (See In-Depth for exceptions)
2. You must wait 10 minutes in-between raiding. (you must wait 20 minutes in-between raiding the same person or base)
3. You can not raid the PD from inside a base or from a rooftop.
4. You cannot raid an obviously empty / open base.
5. You can not use raiding tools or damage someone and then not raid them.
6. You may raid someone who is already being raided as long as you follow through with the raid.
7. You may not continue raiding if an admin is called to the situation. All roleplay should stop until the sit is over.
Building Rules
1. Do not abuse the fading door.
2. You may not have a fading door with the sole purpose to protect a keypad or button.
3. Keypads must be connected to a working fading door.
4. Keypads must have a hold length of 10 seconds.
5. Keypads must be placed near the door they open in plain sight.
6. Keypads must be low enough to be cracked from ground level.
7. Do not build inside unowned buildings or ones that you do not own.
8. Do not build out on the streets or anywhere public. The Hobo, Radio DJ, and Entertainer classes can however build on the sidewalks and park areas.
9. Do not block off large parts of the map, or any place where NPCs or Dumpsters entities spawn.
10. Bases that require crouching or alter your speed or movement in any way are disallowed.
11. You may use only one fading door at each entrance / exit to the base.
12. A player must be able to enter and exit your building using only a keypad cracker and / or a lockpick.
13. You may not have any features to your base where you can see or shoot more of the player entering the base, then they can see of you.
14. Do not move through a no collided prop to shoot and then quickly move back behind cover.
15. While building, put up a sign that says "Building" to let others know you are not roleplaying.
16. When a building sign is up, you cannot have any entities in your base.
17. Do not interfere with people that have a "Building" sign.
18. No Megabasing (See in-depth).
19. No offensive or inappropriate structures.
20. Do not build on rooftops unless they are accessible via walking (inaccessible rooftops).
21. Do not store entities on inaccessible rooftops.
22. Do not raid from inaccessible rooftops.
23. Hobos may not block off a dumpster or hog it to themselves.
24. If a hobo structure covers the majority of the area that contains a dumpster, it must be accessible by a button or no-collided entrance.
25. You cannot hinder or block off the flow of items flying from the dumpster.
26. Hobos who rule the area around a dumpster may kick people out only if they are being problematic / annoying.
27. You may not own more than one base at a time.
28. You may not toolgun manipulate spawned entities in any way.
29. No disorienting advantages such as black rooms or fully invisible props.
30. No use or implementation of the world glow effect.
31. You may not use any form of a lock chamber (Read in-depth).
Civil Protection Rules
1. Corrupt Civil Protection members are not allowed.
2. Civil Protection members may arrest players with illegal guns or contraband out on sight.
3. Civil Protection may use any weapon they have available to them upon spawning or from inside the Civil Protection armory.
4. SWAT may free-roam, but must protect the Police Department and Mayor during a raid / lockdown.
5. Civil Protection members are not allowed to baton rush.
6. Civil Protection members are not allowed to base/own doors/homes. The Police Department is your home.
7. Civil Protection members are not to arrest hobos during a lockdown, since they have no home.
8. Civil Protection members are not to arrest players in spawn during a lockdown.
9. Do not randomly weapon check someone. (Being in the PD or Bank Building is reason enough for a check)
10. Do not raid without a warrant. A building open to the public does not require a warrant to go into, unless there is a closed off private area such as a back room.
11. Do not metagame. You cannot warrant based off hearing money printers or gunshots through the walls.
12. Baton Rush doesn't apply to melee weapons.
13. After a valid warning CP may lethally eliminate lawbreakers who resist arrest or flee to inaccessible areas (e.g specific rooftops) and/or using a grappling hook to escape.
14. You may not under any circumstances kill prisoners in jail.
15. If an Admin is called during a Civil Protection raid, all roleplay should stop until the Admin has finished the sit. Continuing to kill or destroy props can result in punishment.
16. Civil Protection may set up speeding checkpoints under certain conditions (See in-depth).
Mayor Rules & Guidelines
1. You may not make curfews.
2. You must have a valid roleplay reason to set a lockdown.
3. You may only use weapons available to you from the Civil Protection armory.
4. You may change laws to be active or inactive based on the list at the bottom of the rules.
5. The Mayor can build in the PD as long as it does not block walking space. (Cosmetic Props only, no fading doors)
6. The Mayor may set bail for a minimum of $500 or disable bail altogether. The mayor may also set alternative RP forms of bail
7. If there is no Mayor, the CP Chief may set bail instead. If there is no CP Chief, any Civil Protection or Swat officer can accept bail.
8. As Mayor you must not act as police, instead focus on organising the Civil Protection to police.
9. You may only deny warrant requests if you suspect that they are false or have insufficient grounding.
Combat Engagement
The rules that permit you to fire your weapon.

You can fire at someone if:
1. You have made a valid warning beforehand.
2. Someone is shooting, stealing or raiding from you.
3. A person is stopped, facing you, with a pickpocket, (or any item with the same model) out.

You cannot fire at someone if:
1. They are government personnel (if that is the sole reason).
2. They are doing no harm.
3. You have not given out a warning call.
In-Game Laws
These are the laws that should be followed in-game. Disobeying them in any way may result in punishment by government personnel.

The Mayor cannot change laws that are defined below as "Always illegal" or "Always legal". Laws Mayor can change are defined below.

Always legal:
1. Owning or holding a handgun
2. Self Defence with a legal weapon
3. Jaywalking
4. Vehicles.

Always illegal:
1. Murder, Assault, Robbery and Raiding.
2. Firing off any gun in public for any reason other than self defense.
3. Owning a machete / sword or gun that is not a semi automatic pistol.
4. Owning contraband.

Mayor can change/add:
1. Weed / Bongs to be legal
2. Stunsticks to be legal
3. Non-contraband items to be illegal
4. CP Disrespect to be illegal
5. Reasonable RP-related laws.
6. Fight Clubs to be legal.
7. Prostitution to be legal.
8. Default Car Speed Limit to be more than or less than the default 40

Contraband is: Weed*, Weed Plant*, Coke, Meth, Heroine, Stove, Door Charges, Printers, Rocket Crate, Lockpick, Silent Lockpick, Pickpocket, Keypad Cracker, C4, Ghoster, Any Explosive, Unarrest Baton, Stunstick, Compound Bow, Cupid's bow, Nerve Gas, Health Chargers, Armor Chargers.

Contraband is not: Ammo Crate, Brewing Barrel, Beer, Radio, Medic Kit, Grappling Hook, Bugbait, Knives, Morphine, Drug ingredients, Ziptie, Pills.
